Get involved with the our Big Local, Our Barn and One World Strong 24-Hour Community Podcast Show! We are looking for community groups, volunteers and charities across the globe to partake and to tell us your community stories, the work your groups does and to raise awareness of your charitable cause. We will stream your community videos and interviews on Monday 27th December 2021 from 11AM (BST)

What's the 24-Hour Community Podcast all about?
Since the start of the pandemic, we started our Big Local Community Podcast Show. The aim of the podcast was to help people reconnect and to share their volunteering journey and personal stories. We interviewed volunteers, charity workers, and leaders in our local community and across the globe. The podcast has been a great success, we have interviewed over 70 organisations and individuals in the past year, learning, laughing, and sharing along the way. We wanted to see if we could reach more people if we could grow our Podcast community and continue to inspire with our stories. The idea for the 24-Hour Podcast was born, in collaboration with One World Strong and supported by One Barn Community, we are hoping to reach people from all walks of life and charitable organisations doing amazing and transformative work in their local communities and bring everyone together to celebrate and to raise awareness of community volunteering across the globe. We feel it is important to bring all volunteers together, to unite us, and create new friendships along the way. We cannot wait to connect with you and learn all about the work you do!

Please email Taz on [email protected] and we'll be in touch shortly. We aim to organise a Zoom meeting with you and your team in the coming weeks and explain the process of taking part.
How much does it cost to take part?
It's cost nothing, it's free.
How will the 24-Hour Podcast Work? After our introduction meeting, you will be invited to send us a few videos about your organisation or charity work i.e. studies of your volunteers or activities. We will then invite you to join us for a live recorded podcast session, this will be an opportunity for you to meet other people involved with the podcast across the globe.
How many other organisations will be taking part?
We anticipate around 30 different organisations across the globe will be taking part (more the merrier), from North to South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
How many people will be watching on the day?
With your help and support in promoting the event, we hope to reach over 1000 views but more would be great. We'll keep up the podcast on our YouTube channel so people can still watch once the event has finished.
