By Alan Fraser **LAST UPDATED 18.03.2020** Following our Heston West Big Local Board meeting it was decided to suspend all activities with immediate effect. We took this measure to follow government advice on social distancing. Social distancing is an important tool in reducing the spread of Coronavirus and I would urge all members of the community to follow this measure. This means you should not attend any social gatherings including parties and family gatherings. Meeting with people should only be when essential and if you do have to please try and stay 2 metres apart. We need to change the way we live and by doing so we can help save the lives of the vulnerable members of our family and community. I am pleased to say that the Board has agreed a number of different ways we can be together in a safe way online. We also agreed a way we can help those in need within our community. We are just finalising the detail on all of this and will be back in touch soon to let you know how you can participate. Until further notice the board will meet via video conference every Tuesday. These are going to be the most challenging times of our lives but it is important to remember that you are not in this yourself, we can get through this together.
